In 2016, Ariola Vargas founded Agnus Dei Café in Querétaro, México. With a distinct vision: of sharing the gospel among young adults. Subsequently, Ariola's path led her to Virginia where she connected with Citylight, through this partnership she was sent out to Querétaro, breathing new life into the coffee shop ministry. This chapter was marked by a dynamic series of milestones — from hosting diverse Bible study groups to orchestrating outreach events both within and beyond the café's walls.

With unwavering commitment, these efforts cultivated a thriving community, prompting the coffee shop's evolution into something greater.In January 2023, a new era dawned as Agnus Dei and Citylight planted a church, guided by Pastor Mauricio Munguia. This vibrant congregation serves as a testament to faith's enduring power.
